Originally from Bloomington, Indiana—I spent the last 9 years living in Fort Collins, Colorado before making my way to Sacramento where I’m so happy to continue nurturing my calling in birth work. As a former teacher at a Waldorf preschool, I have a very special place in my heart for providing well-rounded support to families. Part of that journey is getting to know any partners, children or other family members of my clients. It also means understanding the systems in which we exist and bringing a holistic and adaptable approach to your care. As a doula, my support can be physical, emotional, mental, educational, logistical, spiritual, advocacy or all of the above. My goal is to meet you where you’re at and provide unbiased, comprehensive, trauma-informed and evidence-based information so you can have true informed consent on your birthing journey! I trust that all birthing people have a fountain of wisdom within and that babies are very wise too. It’s an honor to walk alongside my clients as they tap into this aspect of themselves and greet their little ones. Accessibility and inclusivity are core values of mine and I believe that everyone should have access to a doula! I’m also all about you finding a doula that feels like the right fit for you, so if you’re looking for a doula with some shared interests, values, identities etc., here’s a bit more about me. I love nature and am very outdoorsy. I’m Jewish, neurodivergent, crafty and very close with my family. I have a partner and a dog who I love very much. I love to travel, read, practice yoga, garden and see live music. I’m also a meditation guide and love incorporating meditation, story and energy work into my doula role when clients are interested.
