I am a wife to my high school sweetheart. We have been in fulltime ministry for almost 20 years and he is also a police officer. I am a homeschooling mother of seven amazing children, five living and two angels. My own journey with motherhood has only deepened my love of birth. Throughout the births of my own children I have discovered the sacredness of not only the labor and birth experience but also motherhood.
The loss of my daughter Emma in 2016 stirred in an additional passion of birth to support families through the hardest seasons life can sometimes bring. I began offering bereavement services and consider one of the greatest gifts Emma brought to my life. To come alongside families experiencing the loss of a baby as they say both hello and goodbye, because every birth, no matter the outcome, is valuable.
