This birth is your story! As a certified birth and postpartum doula, along with my Evidence Based Birth® and Body Ready Method® training, I offer a calm presence and years of experience to help you and your partner explore options and prepare for your birthing and postpartum time.
The Evidence Based Birth® Childbirth class will give you the skills and knowledge to be the decision maker for your birth. In our classes we discuss the information you learn from the videos by Dr. Rebecca Dekker, PhD. I supplement each class with content and coaching from the Body Ready Method® principles, designed to help you achieve a more comfortable pregnancy, smoother birth, and easier recovery. I also offer a discount code for their programs.

About

Being very uninformed at my first birth I was left feeling like it was something that just “happened” to me. I felt like the doctor delivered my baby rather than me giving birth to her. During my subsequent five pregnancies, I educated myself about the process and felt empowered to make choices for my births. After raising my family I felt called to birth work and have a passion for helping new parents navigate their journey.

Going into the class I thought I had all the confidence and ability to support my partner and have this baby successfully, but after taking this class I know now that I had so much to learn.
