I’m so glad you reached out. I specialize in prenatal and postpartum massage and have spent years understanding how pregnancy changes the body and how to work with those changes gently and effectively. If you’re looking for care that’s both nurturing and rooted in deep experience, you’re in the right place. I’d love to learn more about what you’re experiencing and how I can support you best.

About

My name is Satisha and I am more than just a Massage Therapist. It is my mission in life to support and nurture women, their bodies, and their babies through the beautiful process of pregnancy, birth, and postpartum.

My specialization in pre- and postnatal massage is enhanced by my deep understanding of anatomy, movement, and the changes that happen in your body during pregnancy. I am able to read the body in a unique way and my massage sessions take a step beyond simple relaxation, as I can often identify and address the root cause of your discomforts. I make sure to address areas that require extra attention during pregnancy that are often missed or neglected, including as coccyx issues, pubic synthesis, and shortness of breath.

I offer individualized bodywork for your entire pregnancy and postpartum period, including infant massage. My support goes beyond the massage table to offer you emotional coaching, essential oils, stretches for you and baby, and help with physical post-birth issues such as nursing discomforts and your recovering body.

I work closely with the local birthing community of midwives and doulas, as they know better than anyone the personalized care and attention that must go into supporting a pregnant mom. I am honored to be recognized by these amazing women as a key contributor to making pregnancy and birth a comfortable and joyous experience.

Hear from my families

"Many women think that enduring physical discomfort, even of an extreme level, is a normal part of pregnancy. I have learned this is simply not the case on several occasions with Sati. With her expert hands, in an hour session she has resolved for me: -six weeks of lower back pain in the first trimester that had severely hampered my mobility and was no longer endurable. This pain was not responsive to stretching, yoga or regular massage. She solved it in one visit. -rib pain on the left side in the third trimester that felt like a rack of fractured ribs. I was not able to breathe deeply, sit up or roll over. She was able to immediately identify the issue and resolve it in one visit, where the doctor and specialist chiropractors could not figure it out or resolve it. I am so grateful for her help as she has helped me live a normal life while pregnant. I have gone to her for routine maintenance appointments as well, even if I’m feeling good. In these appointments, she facilitates the expansion and stretching of the pregnant body, restores muscular symmetry, relieves pressure on the diaphragm and stomach which increases lung capacity and decreases acid reflux, and assists baby on finding a comfortable position in the womb. All this practical work happens while she relaxes the entire body in a wonderfully pleasant way. I always come away feeling improved, supported and amazed by her expertise and insight, and consider her a crucial part of my care team to prepare my body for a smooth birth. While she is more expensive than other prenatal massage specialists in the area, this appropriately relates to the value she provides and her comparative skill level. As a practical gal, regular appointments with Sati is the one thing I splurge on. We are so lucky to have her locally. Women drive for several hours away for appointments with her."
'I went to Satisha multiple times during my third trimester and she helped me tremendously, but what has really impressed me is the work she did with my daughter. My 7 week old was experiencing a lot of tension from a long birth, oral ties and minor torticollis. After just one session she is visibly more comfortable, she is looking around and moving her head on both directions, the clicking while she eats has significantly improved and she is hardly gulping air while she eats. I cannot wait to see the improvement after a few more session with Sati and I cannot recommend her enough!"
